Resting high on a hillside amongst lush greenery, this charming lodge provides a peaceful escape in a beautiful New Zealand setting. Surrounded by stunning views of Esk Valley and attractions in the Hawke's Bay area, guests can relax and enjoy the tranquillity. the rooms are spacious, cosy and immaculately clean, offering comfortable beds and a welcoming atmosphere. the friendly hosts add a personal touch, ensuring a delightful stay. Facilities include a balcony offering magnificent views, hobby farms, and a little shop nearby.
Some minor issues, such as a damp bathroom and limited recycling options detract slightly from the otherwise exceptional experience.

Staying at this hotel was an exquisite experience. the luxurious amenities and exclusive services exceeded my expectations. the sun terrace was a perfect spot to relax with stunning views. the room advantages were beyond compare with upscale bedding, plush towels, and exquisite toiletries.
The only minor issue I encountered was the lack of adequate BBQ facilities. the picnic area and tables were wonderful alternatives to enjoy a nice outdoor dining experience.

Great location with amazing views, and a spacious lodge with enough room for a big family like ours. The hosts were friendly, and the homemade biscuits were delicious. The night sky was a highlight for us, and it was easy to explore the surroundings.
We stayed over New Year's and it was extremely loud and noisy. There were no proper facilities to handle the loud partying and celebrations. It was hard to get any sleep or relaxation during the night. The lodge was not soundproofed and we could hear everything from outside, which was frustrating.

I recently stayed at a lodge in a beautiful area of New Zealand and was blown away by the spectacular views of the surrounding hills and Esk Valley. The hotel facilities were spacious, charming and had a very welcoming atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the homemade biscuits and port provided by the staff, which added a personal touch to my stay. Moreover, the staff were truly exceptional and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Their knowledge of wine and local produce was impressive, and I was delighted by the delicious breakfast served to me each morning.
Nothing that I didn't like.

The view from the room was stunning. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious, with fresh towels provided every day. The location was convenient, with easy access to the city center and other tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering advice on where to go and what to do in the area.
The noise level was unbearable. The hotel is located near a busy street, making it difficult to sleep at night.
